Day-By-Day Itinerary

Days 1–3 — Kafue National Park (Remote Wilderness & Big-Sky Landscapes)

Arrive in Lusaka and drive or fly into Kafue, one of Africa’s largest and least-visited parks. Spend three days exploring either central Kafue or the Busanga Plains (seasonal) with vast open savannas, lions, roan, sable, wild dog, and sweeping photographic horizons. Walking safaris and night drives deepen the immersion.
Overnights: Ila Safari Lodge; Musekese; Wilderness Shumba or Busanga Bush Camp (seasonal)

Days 4–6 — South Luangwa (Leopards, Walking Safaris & Riverine Wildlife)

Fly to South Luangwa for Zambia’s most famous predator-rich valley. Enjoy morning walking safaris, day and night drives, hide sessions, and classic Luangwa landscapes of ebony groves and the meandering river. Expect exceptional leopard viewing and superb guiding throughout.
Overnights: Chinzombo; Mchenja; Lion Camp; or Tafika

Days 7–9 — Lower Zambezi (Canoes, Boating & Riverfront Safari)

Continue to the Lower Zambezi for a complete shift in scenery: escarpment cliffs, Zambezi channels, and abundant elephant, hippo, and buffalo. Spend three days mixing canoeing, boating, tiger-fishing (catch & release), walking safaris, and day/night drives. Wildlife viewing from camp itself is often spectacular.
Overnights: Chiawa Camp; Sausage Tree; or Chongwe

Days 10–12 — Victoria Falls (Zambezi River, Activities & Relaxation)

Fly to Livingstone for a slower-paced finale along the Zambezi River. Experience Victoria Falls on a guided tour, take a sunset cruise, add a helicopter “Flight of Angels,” or—season permitting—visit Devil’s Pool. Optional community or conservation experiences are also available.
Overnights: Royal Livingstone; Tongabezi; or Thorntree River Lodge

Days 13–14 — Depart Zambia

Transfer to Livingstone Airport for your onward journey. Add an extra night for smoother connections or pure relaxation.
