Day-by-Day Itinerary

Days 1–3 — Entebbe & Kibale Forest (Chimpanzees, Wetlands & Rainforest Trails)

Arrive in Entebbe with a private meet-and-greet and settle into your boutique lodge. The next day, travel to the lush Kibale Forest region—Uganda’s chimpanzee heartland—where you can unwind or take an optional nature walk. Spend Day 3 tracking wild chimpanzees with expert rangers, followed by relaxed time at your lodge or a visit to the Bigodi Wetlands for birdlife and primates.
Overnights: Hotel No. 5 (Entebbe); Turaco Treetops or Primate Lodge (Kibale)

Days 3–6 — Queen Elizabeth National Park (Savanna Wildlife & Kazinga Channel)

Continue south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its crater lakes, open savannas, and rich wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive on arrival, followed the next day by a classic Kazinga Channel boat cruise—one of Uganda’s best wildlife experiences—with hippos, elephants, buffalo, crocodiles, and prolific birdlife. Optional detour through the Ishasha sector offers a chance to see the famed tree-climbing lions.

Days 6–8 — Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Mountain Gorillas & Highland Scenery)

Travel into the misty highlands of Bwindi for the highlight of your journey: trekking endangered mountain gorillas with expert trackers. Spend a powerful, intimate hour with a gorilla family before returning to your lodge to relax and reflect.

Day 8 — Fly to Entebbe & Depart

Fly from Bwindi (Kihihi or Kisoro) back to Entebbe for your onward journey. Optional overnight available for smoother connections.
