Day-by-Day Itinerary

Days 1–3 — Entebbe & Kibale Forest

Arrive in Entebbe and unwind after your flights. The next day, fly or drive to Kibale—the primate capital of East Africa. Spend a morning tracking chimpanzees, followed by an optional crater-lake walk, birding, or a cultural visit.
Overnights: Hotel No. 5 (Entebbe); Ndali Lodge or Kyaninga Lodge (Kibale)

Days 3–6 — Queen Elizabeth NP & Ishasha

Continue south into Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive into the Rift Valley, a Kazinga Channel boat cruise (one of Uganda’s best wildlife experiences), and a journey through the Ishasha sector in search of the famous tree-climbing lions.
Overnights: Kyambura Gorge Lodge or Elephant Plains (Queen Elizabeth NP); Ishasha Wilderness Camp (optional)

Days 6–8 — Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Gorillas)

Arrive in Bwindi’s forested hills and prepare for one of Africa’s great wildlife encounters. Spend a morning trekking mountain gorillas, with an optional second day available for guests wanting more photography or a deeper experience.
Overnights: Mahogany Springs or Clouds Lodge

Days 8–11 — Masai Mara Safari (Kenya)

Fly from Entebbe to the Masai Mara and settle into one of Africa’s premier big-cat destinations. Enjoy classic Mara game drives, conservancy activities (night drives, walking safaris, off-roading), and—Jul to Oct—the Great Migration. Add an extra day for photography, ballooning, or simply more time with the predators.

Day 12–14 — Fly to Nairobi & Depart

Fly from the Mara to Nairobi for onward connections. Add 1–2 extra nights in the Mara depending on season and interests.
