Day-By-Day Itinerary

Days 1–2 — Nairobi (Kid-Friendly Wildlife Warm-Up)

Arrive in Nairobi and settle into a family-friendly suite. Spend the next day easing into the safari rhythm with activities kids love: the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to meet rescued baby elephants, feeding endangered giraffes at the Giraffe Centre, craft workshops, or easy market browsing. Afternoons are relaxed to avoid early trip fatigue.

Days 3–5 — Lewa Conservancy / Laikipia (Adventure, Learning & Flexible Safari)

Fly to Lewa Conservancy, one of Kenya’s safest, most conservation-forward regions — ideal for families. Enjoy short, flexible game drives with elephants, rhino, giraffe, and zebra, plus interactive activities tailored to kids and teens: junior ranger programs, spoor tracking, horseback riding, camel walks, rhino HQ visits, mountain biking for older kids, and pool time. Evenings often include campfires and storytelling.

Days 6–9 — Masai Mara (Big Cats, Conservancies & Family Fun)

Fly directly into the Masai Mara for big cats, wide-open savannas, and wildlife that feels like “The Lion King” come to life. Enjoy private, flexible game drives perfect for kids’ attention spans, with optional sunrise balloon flights for teens. Conservancy stays allow for night drives, short bush walks, off-road tracking, and relaxed family sundowners. Add an extra day for migration viewing (Jul–Oct), photography, or downtime.
