Day-by-Day Itinerary

Days 1–3 — Sydney (Harbour, Wildlife & Beaches)

Arrive in Sydney and settle into a family-friendly hotel with easy access to the harbour. Enjoy Taronga Zoo with its iconic views, ferry rides back across the water, and kid-approved stops at Darling Harbour’s playgrounds, SEA LIFE Aquarium, or Wild Life Sydney Zoo. Spend a relaxed day at Bondi Beach with easy sections of the coastal walk to Bronte, gelato breaks, and plenty of time outdoors.

Days 3–6 — Cairns / Port Douglas (Reef & Rainforest)

Fly north to the tropics and check into a pool-focused resort. A full family reef day follows—choose between a smooth catamaran experience or a pontoon with semi-submersible boats, snorkeling platforms, guided marine talks, and shorter-water-time options perfect for kids. Spend another day exploring the rainforest: Daintree boardwalks, Mossman Gorge swims, or the Kuranda Scenic Railway & Skyrail combo.

Days 7–9 — Gold Coast (Beaches, Theme Parks & Easy Fun)

Fly to the Gold Coast and settle into a beachfront family resort. Enjoy days tailored to your kids’ ages: surf lessons, beach time, or theme parks (Dreamworld, Movie World, or Sea World). Add in downtime at the pool, optional hinterland excursions to Tamborine Mountain, or more beach hopping.
